Get to know the authors of the World Romance Writers a little better here!

Alicia Dean:

I’m a suspense and paranormal author in Edmond, Oklahoma, and I’ve dreamed of being a writer since I was a child. I attempted my first romance at age 10 (featuring a hero who looked just like Elvis Presley), and I still have the tattered, pencil-written copy.

I lead a very busy life, but I manage to find time to read my favorite authors—Michael Connelly, Dennis Lehane, and Lee Child to name a few—and watching (and rewatching) my favorite shows like The Walking Dead, Dexter, Justified, and too many sitcoms to name. But, my greatest passion—other than my family—is writing, and I am exceedingly blessed that I get to do what I loves most.

Love Endures Throughout the Ages, Intrigue Unfolds Across the Pages

Born in Canada, raised in the Caribbean and educated in Europe, I’ve lived and traveled all over the world. As an eternal matchmaker, it brings me great joy to create love stories in romantic international settings where two hearts end up beating as one. These days the USA is home. I share a cozy cottage with my true love, our teen son, and a crafty dog who rules us all. My muse is nourished with the finest fuel for creativity – chocolate and coffee.

Lindsay Townsend:

Lindsay lives in Yorkshire, England, where she was born, and started writing stories at an early age. Always a voracious reader, she took a degree in medieval history  and worked in a library for a while, then began to write full-time after marriage.

Her first unpublished historical found her an agent and the second got a publisher in London interested. They wanted her to write with a modern setting, which she did – several romantic thrillers set in Greece, Italy or on Dartmoor in the English West Country - and enjoyed it, but historicals are really her first love. The books Lindsay is currently writing are medievals, but she is also fascinated by the ancient world, especially Rome, Egypt and the Bronze Age.

When not writing or researching her books, she enjoys walking, reading, cooking, music, going out with friends and long languid baths with scented candles (and perhaps chocolate).
